Brewed in collaboration with legendary American brewers Jamil Zainasheff & Mitch Steele, Evil 3 is a redux of their iconic Triple IPA originally brewed at Heretic with Mike 'Tasty' McDole. Drawing on the original recipe we took complete advantage of the opportunity for a lesson in West Coast brewing from the pioneers of the style. Expect a rich, bright, golden hued beer speaking of lazy late afternoon sunshine. On the nose the sticky resin of pine cones and juicy ripe citrus and tropical fruit. Mango, pineapple and blood orange juices licked from fingers in the back seat on a long road trip. In the mouth an intense body, warm tingle of booze and stinging bitterness work in balance with the deep hop aromas and rich honey and biscuit malt characters to deliver an unforgettable beer that feels both nostalgic and anarchic at the same time.
